HIDDEN BOOKS – APOCRYPHA

The biblical apocrypha (from the Greek ?????????, apókruphos, meaning “hidden”) references the collection of ancient christian books.

APOCRYPHA BOOKS:

Although the term apocrypha had been in use since the 5th century, it was in Luther’s Bible of 1534 that the Apocrypha was first published as a separate intertestamental section. Books like the Macccabees have some of the details wrong… that’s why Luther couldn’t have included it or ‘sola scriptura’ couldn’t fit into politics.
